Star-Spangled crab feast coming to Fort McHenry

This September marks the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore and the successful defense of Fort McHenry events that inspired Francis Scott Key to write "The Star-Spangled Banner."

The celebration has already begun at the fort. On Saturday, The Friends of Fort McHenry are hosting what the organization is calling the first-ever Fort McHenry crab feast, on Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the general public are $75 ($45 for ages 15 and under) and include large and medium crabs, Old Bay wings, hamburgers and hot dogs, oysters from Ryleigh’s Oyster and beer from Heavy Seas.
