The Crab Patty

When it debuted at the 2012 Maryland State Fair, the Crab Patty -- a crab cake topped with a soft-shell crab -- was a big hit in the Maryland Foods Pavilion, according to Doug Henley, co-owner of the Mount Airy-based Convenience Catering, which operates the pavilion's pit beef and seafood counters. So, he brought it back for the 2013 fair, and he's bringing it back again this year.
