This year the National Chicken Council projects more than 1.25 billion wings -- or 100 million pounds -- will be consumed during the Super Bowl weekend. Baltimore's favorite wing joints now have outside competition. Wingstop has arrived. The Richardson, Texas wing specialists have opened their first Baltimore-area location, just in time for the Super Bowl. The 500-unit franchise sells omore than 5 million wings on Super Bowls Sunday.
