Baltimore County winter restaurant week on the way; promotion trimmed from 15 to 10 days

Baltimore County's winter restaurant promotion is on its way. So far, 34 restaurants have signed up to participate in the county's second go-round, which is being held Jan 12-21, 2012

Again this year, participating restaurants can fix their restaurant week lunch or dinner menus at $10, $15, $20 $25, $30 or $35.

This year's Baltimore County Restaurant Week winter promotion is five days shorter than last year's, the debut, which ran for 15 days and managed to overlap for eight days with the Baltimore City dining promotion. This year, there is only a two-day overlap, the last two of the county's and the first two of the city's.

Most of the first-year county participants are back. New this year are the Charred Rib, Della Rose's Avenue Tavern, the Green Turtle in Owings Mills, the Melting Pot and the Williamsburg Inn.
