An Annapolis-based taco bar is making its Baltimore debut later this year.
Vida Taco Bar is set to open in 1405 Point, an apartment tower under construction at Harbor Point, according to a news release from Beatty Development Group.
The restaurant serves a mix of traditional and novel tacos, with fillings including chorizo, butternut squash, pork belly and fried avocado. The menu emphasizes locally sourced ingredients. Prices at the Annapolis restaurant range from $3.50-$6.50 for tacos and $6-$13 for starters such as pico de gallo, ceviche and quesadillas.
The bar also offers margaritas ($9-$12), other cocktails, mezcal, beer and wine.
Vida Taco Bar is the first retail tenant to sign a lease in the 1405 Point building, where it will occupy 3,659 square feet. The 17-story tower will include 289 apartments, a rooftop pool, a fitness center and more retail space.
The building is on track to be completed in late 2017, and Vida Taco Bar is scheduled to open in December. The tower is part of the 27-acre Harbor Point site being developed by Beatty Development Group.
The restaurant is part of the Fox Boys Hospitality Group, which also owns Fox's Den and Level Small Plates Lounge in Annapolis.
