Coffee spots
Get the buzz on our favorite local cafés
Coffee shop regulars (the ones who come in, set up their laptops or a pull out some books and never seem to leave) know the morning cup-a-joe-to-go crowd has its priorities all wrong. The best coffee shops are designed for lounging, reading and hanging out with friends, for quick meetings, first dates and perhaps even the occasional break-up. In short, they're a place outside the house that still feels like home. Granted, the best coffee shops serve the sort of coffee you can't make at home, whether it's fancy espresso drinks or just perfectly roasted and brewed drip coffee. Baltimore is lucky enough to have a handful of great coffee shops -- all with free wireless Internet access. Here are our five favorite java joints.
