Isaac Hayes, 'Shaft' songwriter and Chef on 'South Park,' dies
Isaac Hayes, the pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless "Theme From Shaft" won Academy and Grammy awards, died yesterday afternoon, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said. He was 65.
