Glimpsed: Prime Rib

For decades, the Prime Rib has been a favorite haunt for many local power brokers. It also may be the last restaurant in Baltimore that requires men to wear jackets. Despite his disdain for dressing up, local auto mogul Jack Antwerpen suits up in a style all his own, especially when it comes to celebrating his new engagement and summer nuptials to local realtor Dolores Larrimore.

Self-described style: "I'm a simple kind of guy. What do you mean?"

The look: Coppley blue pinstriped suit. Red Nordstrom silk bowtie. White dress shirt, "something from Italy. It was on sale." Ferragamo black slip-on shoes. Rolex watch.

Where it came from: The suit and shirt came from J.S. Edwards. He bought the tie at Nordstrom. The watch? J. Brown Jewelers."As far as his shoes go, "I don't remember where they came from. One day they showed up in my closet."

Gray beard accessory: "I'm running for president [in my TV commercials]. [It started because] I was getting old and lazy. Then, it started looking good. I stopped smoking, so now I do this."

Dress philosophy: """I used to wear dressier clothes, to impress the banks. Now, I don't have to do it anymore...I hate to get dressed up. I love casual clothes. ... Tomorrow is Friday. I'll wear my casual clothes, the ones I can sleep in ... relaxed pants from The Gap with a dressy shirt hanging outside my pants. And my tennis shoes."

Favorite color and style: "My favorite color is khaki. I love everything loose. I like loose clothes."

Wedding attire: "Casual clothes ... I'm going to wear a bathing suit when I get married. ... I don't want to see anybody in a tuxedo. I don't want to see anybody in a tie. I want to see everybody in the most comfortable clothes they can wear. And if they don't want to wear any clothes, they can do that!"
