Xandria Fleurke
Glimpsed: Annapolis
It's a beautiful, breezy day along the Annapolis waterfront. No wonder it attracts beautiful, breezy UVA student Xandria Fleurke. She's spending the day with her aunt, who's spending a little money on this day out with her niece.
Xandria Fleurke
Age: 21
Residence: Virginia Beach, Virginia
Job: University of Virginia senior
Self-described style: "I'm kind of preppy, but comfortable."
The look: White button down J. Crew shirt. The Limited denim jacket. Gray striped Seven for All Mankind jeans. Antonio Melani tooled black and brown boots. Orange pashmina. The Sak hobo bag. Black wood-bead necklace and earrings. Kenneth Cole stainless steel watch. Chloe knock-off sunglasses.
Where it's from: The jeans came from The Bahama Store in Virginia Beach. The boots, from Dillard's in Norfolk. The pashmina was a gift. The wood bead jewelry came from Costa Rica, where her mother got them as a gift for her. The watch came from Stein Mart in Virginia Beach. And the glasses? $7.50 from Corner 24, also in Virginia Beach. "I was excited about that purchase. I lose sunglasses like it's my job."
Up for shopping/down on trends: "I like shopping. I don't like how trends change all the time. And people try to keep up. I think you should wear what you think looks good on you."
Pocket-poor: "I don't shop very often because I'm in college, and I don't have money. So, I do shop with my mom, my grandmother. And my aunt today, Lea Bobadilla, who's visiting from Carlsbad, Calif."
A framed look: "I really like earrings. Any kind. I feel incomplete without them. I run a lot, and I wear earrings when I go running. And my friends make fun of me."
Comfy chic: "It takes me forever [to decide what to wear]. I like to be as comfortable as possible. I like looking somewhat put-together. ... I hope [my clothes] say that I'm mature, confident, but approachable."
