Five Things I Have To Have Now

Entering his sixth season as a member of the Baltimore Blast, which opened its 2007-2008 season Friday, P.J. Wakefield has already won three Major Indoor Soccer League Championships with his teammates. A graduate of Calvert Hall and University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Wakefield joined the Blast for the 2002-03 season and was named MISL Rookie of the Year.

Wakefield and his wife, Jessica, live in Middle River with their 1-year-old son, Mason.

1. A swing set in the backyard for my son

"Playing together and watching him grow up has been the best part of my life."

2. Fishing on the Chesapeake Bay

"I'd like some time on the water with my dad on his 23-foot Grady White [boat] catching rockfish and crabs.'

3. Real estate in the Caribbean

"After my honeymoon in St. Lucia, I have always wanted to go back and buy a home on the beach where I can vacation and retire to."

4. Baltimore seafood

"Nothing beats hot steamed crabs, shrimp and a cold beer."

5. Traveling around Europe and visiting soccer stadiums

"Being a huge soccer fan, I have always wanted to travel to England to watch a Manchester United match as well as visit many other stadiums."
