Creig Northrop, real estate agent
Five Things I Have To Have Now
On a typical workday, Maryland native Creig Northrop usually wakes up about 6 a.m. and tries to squeeze in some tennis before getting to work about 9 a.m. Then he begins playing catch up with his e-mail inbox and prepares for bouts of meetings and appointments. It's all part of the job of heading a busy real estate office.
And things are about to get even busier. Creig Northrop and the Northrop Team, Long & Foster Real Estate, which operates four offices in Maryland, will open a fifth in Montgomery County this spring.
Still, Northrop, 40, can dream about having a bit of down time - a luxurious vacation home, a bit of golf.
He has four children and lives with his wife in Ellicott City.
1. Dinner with new Ravens head coach John Harbaugh
"I'm a big fan, and I would love to chat with him about the driving force of team motivation."
2. A personal driver
"A driver could take me to all of my appointments so that I can improve efficiency and customer service, and avoid getting those nasty speeding tickets."
3. To attend the Academy Awards
"My first business was a video store, and I'm a huge movie buff."
4. A home in Tahiti with plenty of rooms
"I can take my whole team on vacation."
5. Go to the Masters
"I've always wanted to play a round of golf with Tiger Woods and his red shirt."
