Fail: Mascots hanging on

The Clydesdales are noble and majestic and all, and tugging barrels of beer (or even of Budweiser) through city streets is an honorable profession. But this year¿s ad plucks at the heartstrings with all the subtlety of a toddler on a toy guitar. Really? A story borrowed from "War Horse"? And why is Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" layered on top: Do we have a classic-rock deficit? Meanwhile, the littlest E-trader returns -- and does exactly what he always does. Having him grow up a little might be funny. But as is? Nap time.
