Pictures: 'Breaking Bad' season 5 - what now?
After last season's fiery ending, there are plenty of questions going into Sunday's Season 5 premiere (10 p.m., AMC). Here are ours. (Warning: spoilers ahead.)

Here we go ...
"Just when you think it can't get any bigger, badder, darker, it all does," says Anna Gunn, the actress who plays "Breaking Bad's" Skyler White, during a Season 5 preview.
Well, that's just ... peachy. After four meticulously crafted, soul-crushing seasons, AMC's complex tale of a science-teacher-turned-methamphetamine-producing-monster has emerged as the only real challenger to "Mad Men's" Emmy-plated throne. "Breaking Bad's" anti-hero narrative is unique, too: While other dramas flirt with bleak possibilities, "Breaking Bad" gleefully drives off the cliff, hoping your eyes will still be open as the wreckage burns. |
