Season 8 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" has been full of fractured friendships, heartfelt confessions and epic arguments. Part two of this reunion is no different.
The dysfunctional gathering immediately dives into Tamra’s problematic past and her struggles with sexual activity at a young age and attempts at suicide. None of her friends were aware of her hitting rock-bottom including Simon, Eddie and even her mother. Tamra expresses her excitement for finally feeling comfortable enough to open up and share her emotions of both her past and current troubles.
The women talk about the 100th episode special and review how much they have changed throughout the years, including themselves as individuals, their plastic surgery and their relationships with one another.
Alexis feels she is not wanted on the show since apparently nobody like her. She has felt bullied by majority of the other housewives despite trying to make amends with ladies during the course of the season.
Gretchen is confronted by Tamra on the loyalty of their friendship and argues with Heather about the guest role saga for “Malibu Country.” Clearly, it must be pick on Gretchen day. Gretchen considers herself close friends with Lydia and Heather and claims she wants to be friends with Tamra but the building drama and tension may be too high to restore.
Suspicions rise between the group about whether or not Gretchen’s over-the-top proposal to Slade was done for the filming of the show. The catty bunch of women question the timing of that big day and wonder if it was done to boost Gretchen’s semi-boring season and give her an interesting story line.
At the end of the episode, footage from the engagement day is replayed and brings the entire group to tears. The women apologize to a hysterical Gretchen for questioning her and Slade’s love for each other.
Next week: The conclusion of the three-hour reunion with guest appearances from Briana and Brooks.
