The housewives are still in the Bahamas.
Karent, Joanna, Lisa and Lea sit around the breakfast table in their pajamas, pretending they just woke up, but wearing full faces of makeup. Except maybe Joanna, but she just pisses me off because she always looks beautiful.
Lea's giving Karent advice about the Rodolfo situation. In case you missed the last episode, or my gripping recap, Alexia shared an article with the women that said Rodolfo was in a serious relationship with someone, and it wasn't Karent. And there were pictures of them making out, so...I'd say it's probably at least half true. Lea wants Karent to stand up for herself and confront Rodolfo, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.
In the other house, Alexia, Marysol, Adriana and Ana start off the morning with mimosas and a call to Elsa. Elsa says that it wasn't anybody's business to tell Karent about Rodolfo. Elsa starts yelling at the girls about getting involved in Karent and Rodolfo's business. I love Elsa, but she is basically the "voice of reason" on the show--which is a little alarming because I'm pretty sure that Elsa is a little loco.
Lisa opens up about her trouble conceving. Lea is really comforting to Lisa, she tells her that everything in life worth having is worth fighting for. Lea tells Lisa that she needs to let go of everything that has happened in the past because it's affecting her future. Lisa is clearly upset about this and starts crying. But Lea says all the right things and it seems to make Lisa feel better.
Karent finds out her dad is in the hospital and she is freaking out and crying. Hopefully he's okay. But it seems like everyone is more worried about the girls thinking she is upset about Rodolfo, not her dad. Karent decides not to attend dinner.
At the dinner Alexia tells everyone at the table she loves them. When Lisa asks how she feels about Karent it turns into a Karent bashing session. Then all of the sudden the topic switches to Marysol telling people not to hire Lea's friend James.
It's just so ridiculous how these women are all upset, defensive and flipping out about things that are mostly just media rumors.
Anyways, it seems like Lea and Marysol are finally going to have it out. Well, that only took fourteen episodes to come to fruition.
Lea reels off a list of things that Marysol has done wrong concerning her gala. They're all really unimportant issues like people getting into her gala for free and dancing like "teeny-boppers." I don't really remember anything else she said because she didn't say anything worth remembering. But Lea keeps shouting "the damage is done!"
Karent interrupts their fighting to say she's sorry she missed dinner. It's really sweet and all the housewives give her a hug for her dad.
And then, after that nice moment, Lea starts right back into yelling at Marysol. They don't resolve anything and they just agree to disagree. Then they drink some water that has spiritual powers in it and decide to let bygones be bygones.
I'll never understand these women.
Next week is the finale, so hopefully it's really awesome and makes up for what has been a rather disappointing season. Fingers crossed!
