One last chance?
With Lily having burned all of the evidence of Bart's illegal oil sale, Chuck decides that his best option is his usual going-off-the-deep-end scenario: an alcohol-induced coma. Feeling guilty for Chuck's defeat, Nate combs through paperwork from The Spectator to see if there's any way he can undo the paper's financial damage and prevent Bart from using him against Chuck. He doesn't have much luck (after all, it's pretty hard to erase a felony), but he does hear that Bruce Caplan, one of the only other people who knew about Bart's oil deal, has mysteriously died on a Bass-owned yacht. Nate shares the news with Chuck, but even that won't get him out of bed. Without a backup plan, Nate does what any other Upper East Sider would do in his situation -- call Blair Waldorf. --By Laura Lefavor
