You can watch "good" summer TV. Or you can watch these. -- By Jordan Bartel, The Baltimore Sun

'My Dysfunctional Family,' CMT( CMT / June 11, 2014 )
Airing: Premieres 10 p.m. July 5
What to expect: It sounds a little like "Intervention," with host/professional scary-looking dude Dave Vitalli (above) helping out family situations across the country. By the way, Vitalli calls himself a "family fixer," which has a pretty Mafia-ish tone about it. We're sure that was unintentional.
Guilty rating: 5. Shows where people fix their lives can be uplifting, but Vitalli is described as "armed with lie detectors, drug-sniffing dogs and other surprise tactics." Also, he has made more than 275 appearances on "Maury."
