You can watch "good" summer TV. Or you can watch these. -- By Jordan Bartel, The Baltimore Sun

'True Blood,' HBO( HBO / February 3, 2014 )
Airing: The seventh -- and final -- season premieres 9 p.m. June 22
What to expect: The last two seasons have been, uh, not stellar. But we have high hopes for the last outing. The action picks up right where we left off -- with a horde of vampires invading a town celebration.
Guilty rating: 7. "True Blood" has always veered into guilty pleasure territory even when the acting was more on point and the human-rights subtext was tighter. Even if it goes completely off the rails again, it's an escapist delight. Plus, there's walking guilty pleasure Alexander Skarsgard (who, rumor has it, will be back despite his apparent death at the end of Season 6.)
