Lolz, someone over at Oxford Dictionaries Online had a few too many dirty martinis and decided that these new hella ridic words should be defined and included in its quarterly update of new words and meanings.

[with object] informal, spoil a photograph of (a person or thing) by suddenly appearing in the camera's field of view as the picture is taken, typically as a prank or practical joke: that guy totally photobombed our pic
(noun):
photoboming; the concept of photobombing has probably been around as long as photography
