World of Tanks Blitz( July 8, 2014 )
3.5 stars out of 4 Much like the thick-treaded military vehicle on which it's based, "World of Tanks" continues to slowly rumble across the gaming landscape. This time, the sprawling online tank-combat game has managed to shrink down into a mobile form that somehow retains most of the action. Players duck into the steely confines of historic tanks from the U.S., Russia or Germany and team up for 7-on-7 skirmishes in mountain regions, deserts, war-torn ghost towns and other battlefields with the goal of eliminating each other or capturing neutral territory. With so much to see and do, it's hard to believe that "World of Tanks Blitz" is free-to-play, but be warned that there's a frustrating amount of lag if you're connected via a 3G network.
