Dave Gilmore is a freelance writer from Baltimore who does nonprofit operations director work on the side (eight hours every weekday).

He has been infatuated with staring into glowing screens ever since he could pick up a "Duck Hunt" controller. At age six, he entered his local video store's Nintendo fishing tournament on the game "The Black Bass." He came in second place and has been on a mission ever since to get as much out of every game he touches. He particularly likes any game involving a team sport, a dragon, or space travel. He has yet to find one involving all three.
