Producer

It wouldn't be right to not mention how Diddy first earned his mainstream success -- producing classic hip-hop albums from the '90s. There have always been grumblings in the rap community about how involved Diddy was/is in the actual music production (can he build a beat on an MPC or does here merely delegate to his production teams, in particular, The Hitmen?), but his name is listed under "Executive Producer" on the Notorious B.I.G.'s Ready to Die (classic image taken from Biggie's iconic "Big Poppa" video) and Life After Death, and also Mary J. Blige's My Life. Can't scoff at that.
