Turner Auditorium at Hopkins( Jed Kirschbaum, Baltimore Sun photo )
"The Thomas B. Turner Auditorium is home to Johns Hopkins medical education programming. The Auditorium is very old and dated. The sound system is poor, but they did have a full time tech on staff to adjust audio when necessary. The lightening system is also quite dated and the projector is not of high resolution. The seats are "college style" with the pull out writing board. The seats were reasonably comfortable and padded.
Airflow was OK, but again it is an old building.
The washrooms are extremely dated. There was always water on the floor and the urinals did not have privacy protectors. The stalls were small and plugged.
There were no ports, plugs or related items for IT products. This was a severe disadvantage.
At some point Hopkins should consider updating the Turner Auditorium to enhance the overall learning experience."
