Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher, Blake Shelton

Rule of the night: build as much anticipation before announcing the results as possible. And remember: don’t freak out as soon as Carson announces your name, because he simply will be asking you a question. More importantly, give back to those in need in Oklahoma after the devastating tornados.

The night kicked off as Oklahoma native coach Blake Shelton and his wife, Miranda Lambert, performed “Over You,” followed by a performance of “Stand by You” featuring coach Shakira and her teammates, Kris Thomas and Sasha Allen.

Did you see Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez in the audience? Who knew they were big fans of "The Voice!"

Time for business. After Monday night’s performances, team Blake’s Danielle Bradbery and team Adam’s Judith Hill remained safe.

America then saved team Usher’s Michelle Chamuel and team Shakira’s Sasha Allen.

Taking a break from the anxiety that comes with wondering if your favorite teammate is safe, we learned a few things about the players and the coaches. Team Usher’s Michelle Chamuel would be a puppeteer if she wasn’t a singer. The coaches would all be circus performers, and former judge Cee-Lo Green would be a…stripper?

Coach Blake Shelton took the stage again, this time to perform “Mountain Music” with his team. Coach Usher and his team performed “The Look of Love.”

It was again time to announce who would stay, and who would go.

Team Adam’s Sarah Simmons was safe, followed by team Blake’s Holly Tucker.

Team Blake’s Amber Carrington and The Swon Brothers, team Shakira’s Kris Thomas and team Usher’s Josiah Hawley all awaited the results to America's votes.

In the end, it was Amber Carrington and The Swon Brothers who were safe (now Zack doesn’t have to blame an elimination on Colton), Josiah Hawley and Kris Allen who were sent home.

Next week, the top 8 will perform and again it will be up to American to vote and save their favorites. Coach Usher is the only coach with just one contestant left; can Michelle Chamuel beat out everyone else on her own?
