1. Moving on

During the Ravens' improbable Super Bowl run, fans had time to emotionally prepare themselves for the departure of the franchise's most beloved icon, Ray Lewis, who made it clear he was retiring at season's end. What fans weren't ready for was the roster carnage that ensued shortly thereafter. The once-fearsome defense was picked apart, as players like Ed Reed (Houston), Cary Williams (Philadelphia), Bernard Pollard (Tennessee), Dannell Ellerbe (Miami) and Paul Kruger (Cleveland) all made their way out of Charm City. While the offense didn't suffer as great a purging, Joe Flacco did lose wideout Anquan Boldin (San Francisco), who was dominant during the Raven's postseason run. 
Head Coach John Harbaugh took the challenge of winning a Super Bowl head-on. But after the overhaul, maintaining his winning ways may prove to be the biggest hurdle of his coaching career. We'll see if he can do it again.
