3 unique wedding cocktails from Of Love and Regret [Pictures]
We can all agree on one thing: open bar. We can all agree on one other thing: Think outside what you drank in college. Miller Lite is fine to offer. So is the typical array of vodka, gin, whiskey whatevers. But why not spice things up, alchohol-wise? Ryan Travers, the beverage director at Canton's Of Love and Regret (ofloveandregret.com), created three very special wedding cocktails featuring some unusual ingredients you’ve likely never seen at a wedding -- or elsewhere. Your guests will be impressed.

For the wife-to-be: The Lace Corset( Ryan Travers / / March 18, 2014 )
We wanted something elegant, with beautiful color and fresh on the palate. We used Cochi (a fortified red wine made from Italian grapes) for the color and taste. We used the June spirit for a touch of sweet and a French twist with a spring feel. And the Pear Eau de vie ... nothing says pear to me like the taste of that spirit -- clear, clean, fresh with an acidic lemon taste. We put it all in a tulip glass, and it can be topped with secco rose if you want for a spritzer. It's fun, old-world elegant and fresh for a party.
How to make the Lace Corset
1 1/2 oz. Esprit de June
1 1/2 oz. Cochi rose
3/4 oz. Massenez Pear Eau de Vie
1/2 squeezed lemon
Shake, double strain in a champagne flute; garnish with lemon peel.
