Like/Dislike with Jesse Albright, farmer

Farming is a family business for 22-year-old Jesse Albright of Monkton.

"I guess you could say that I have been farming all my life," said Albright. "I have been helping my father since I could walk and selling produce at the age of 5."

Albright and his family's Albright Farms will be showcasing fresh goods and produce at this year's Baltimore County Farmers' Market held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 29.

Albright plans to return to the market again next year. It is a tradition that he and his family don't plan on stopping any time soon. "We love going to the market and seeing the regular customers and meeting new ones," said Albright.

We chatted with Albright about his favorite homegrown items, hashtagging and more.

Worst pet peeve? Customers asking for products out of season. Just because they have it in the grocery store does not mean that it is in season.

What songs are you loving/hating right now? I love "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea and hate "#Selfie."

Your worst habit? Eating. I love food. I guess that's why I'm in the business I'm in.

Trend that has exceeded its natural lifespan? Hashtagging. Let's all put down the phones and stop taking so many selfies and talk to people like we used to.

Last movie you liked and last you disliked? "The Lego Movie" and "The Lego Movie." It was a great movie, but I was hoping for more. I am not sure what but something was missing.

TV shows you can't get enough of? "Suits" and "White Collar."

Favorite and least favorite fashion statement? I dislike skinny jeans and UGGs. My favorite fashion statement is Muck Boots, a free Mill of Bel Air T-shirt and blue jeans.

Last great meal you had? The steak that I cooked from Albright Farms last night.

Favorite place to get a drink in Baltimore? Jimmy's in Fells Point. Best breakfast and coffee in town.

Best advice you ever got? If you want to play, you gotta pay. If you want to have fun, you have to work hard first.

What's your favorite item at the Farmers' Market? I would have to say our tomatoes. They are always popular because they are grown in Monkton soil so they have better flavor. Also, the fruits that I can buy from the other vendors at the market are great.

Your favorite thing about Baltimore? The O's, Bohs and a bushel of crabs.
