( Handout photo ) With five different party areas, Downtown Countdown at the Hyatt Regency is expecting a big crowd. It's more of a formal event -- organizers encourage guys to wear a funky jacket and tie or tux, and girls to don a cocktail or formal dress. Among the main attractions: five comedians in a "cabaret type lounge," multiple bars, buffets, a down-tempo DJ and bands such as Yellow Dubmarine (pictured). Tickets start at $109. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor. |
