Pub Crawl

Annapolis

My pub-crawling team was fearless. We persevered through kitchen floods, unrelenting bottles of wine, nasty men and vomit-inducing shots, but we made it, thanks to a little bit of heart and a crapload of vodka.

There was no hiding in corners here, where, amid sports bars, a speakeasy and shiny chrome hubcaps, our intrepid drinkers found they fit in Canton Square like round pegs.

Like pub crawl writers of the past, I learned quickly that orchestrating a group outing downtown for the sole purpose of drinking is more difficult than it really should be. This invitation to join the Fells Point live music pub crawl was extended to nearly 20 people.

Water Taxi

But after enduring some less-than-helpful taxi guides, wall-mounted deer heads and multiple run-ins with a two-headed ferret, I am writing a Pub Crawl far different from any of my assumptions. This is my story.
