Eclectic: Unexpected Places 4/For Unexpected Aerials

Baltimore’s favorite flygirl, aerialist Mara Niemanis, will perform free 30-minute concerts with a roster of guest artists at locations that explore Baltimore’s texture and geography. On Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m., Niemanis will dance inside and around the giant BUS sculpture outside the Creative Alliance at 3134 Eastern Ave. (creativealliance.org) while cellist ellen cherry fiddles away from atop the 14-foot sculpture. A dance party will be held immediately after the show. More free performances will be held at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 10-11 at the outside industrial corridor at 3500 Parkdale Ave., and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 19 at 2010 Clipper Park Road. baltimoreculture.org. — CK and MCM
