Anna Chapman appears to be the spy making the most out of her overnight celebrity following her arrest and ultimate deportation for her part in a Russian spy ring.
A scantily clad Chapman, 28, is featured on next month's cover of Russian's edition of Maxim magazine, editors revealed Tuesday.
The red-headed spy dons black lingerie, diamond earrings, a silver automatic and a coy yet sexy smile.
"No you are not sleeping and your eyesight is not deceiving you," Maxim editors boast on their website in Russian. In the issue, Chapman is billed as "the world-famous red-headed spy, the mysterious debutante from our list of the country's 100 sexiest women."
Since posting a behind-the-scenes video of Chapman's tongue wagging photoshoot on their site, Maximonline.ru has reportedly crashed several times, a result of high volumes of traffic.
The photo spread also is accompanied by an interview with the former spy where she reveals what she looks for in a man.
"Most men are divided in three categories: primitive, those that only want sex; smarter, those that want to be loved, and [the] last group -- those that not only want to be loved, they also need that this love will be the biggest and most amazing feeling in your life," she said. "Those are the most difficult, but that is my favorite category."
Her salacious Maxim cover is just the latest project keeping the ex-spy busy. Chapman, along with nine other spies part of a ring taken down by the FBI in June, was recently awarded the Kremlin's top medal for her role in the ring.
Chapman was also recently hired as a technology advisor to the president of Russia's FundService Bank.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
