Center Stage at 50

Baltimore's Center Stage is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, as well as its first season under artistic director Kwame Kwei-Armah (pictured). With a fall lineup that includes Arthur Miller's "An Enemy of the People" (directed by Kwei-Armah ), a look at one of Baltimore's favorite sons with "The Completely Fictional -- Utterly True -- Final Strange Tale of Edgar Allan Poe" and William Inge's "Bus Stop" (you might remember the movie version, which starred Marilyn Monroe), Center Stage remains one feisty quinquagenarian. • Venue information: Center Stage in Mount Vernon
