Saturday: Guinness World record-attempt at O.C. Bikini Parade

The U.S. may have topped China in the number of medals won at the Summer Olympics in London, but will we be able to beat them with our bikinis? Ocean City needs more than 1,000 women of all ages to show up to Saturday’s Guinness World record-attempt Bikini Parade at the Princess Royale (91st Street on the ocean) beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. To join in, participants will need to pay a $10 entrance fee for adults, $5 for girls age 18 and under and free for girls younger than 10. It's all part of this weekend's first-ever Uptown Beach Bash, featuring live music, kids activities, arts, crafts and more. • See The Sun's O.C. blog for full details on the world-record attempt at the Bikini Parade
