Baltimore Book Festival [Pictures]
At the annual Baltimore Book Festival, stages and tents host distinguished authors, celebrity chefs and radical, independent, and DIY writers and publishers, cooking demonstrations, spirited and informative panel discussions, top children and young adults' writers and illustrators, children's arts and crafts activities, workshops for aspiring writers and publishers, poetry readings and live music from regional entertainers. The 2012 Baltimore Book Festival was held Sept. 28-30 in Mount Vernon. An estimated 50,000 people attend the event, organizers say.
