Glimpsed at Walters Jewelry Fair: Katherine Phillips

Katherine Phillips may be only 16, but the McDonogh School junior shows she already has a strong fashion sense that's "a little preppy, with some bohemian touches." Accompanying her mom to the opening night party of "Eureka!," the Walters Art Museum's annual jewelry fair, the Owings Mills resident sported a navy double-breasted Ralph Lauren sweater jacket over a navy cap-sleeved Kimchi Blue sweater dress from Urban Outfitters. Then she added a pair of triple fringed Minnetonka boots from Towson Bootery. "These are my favorite boots. I wear them almost every day. They're so me." Something else she wears every day; the necklace with charms she's collected that each have a special meaning to her. Her Gucci handbag is a hand-me-down from her mother. "I was quite excited. It's a little worn around the edges. But that makes it look vintage."
