Everybody's a critic. Now I've got to compete with a six-year-old. Jeesh.
But seriously, folks, he really is six years old. And he's a natural. Iain Armitage delivers an enthusiastic review of "Sunday in the Park with George," the affecting Sondheim musical that has been given a terrific revival at Signature Theatre.
I love how Iain gets right to the heart of the show, emphasizing the message about creating something good with your life, and leaving something good behind.
At a time when there is so much angst-ing over the future of culture and attracting young audiences, it sure is cool to encounter a kid so clearly caught up in "the art of making art."
