Virginia residents can visit Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center an unlimited number of times throughout the entire year for the cost of a single-day ticket.
The museums’ American Heritage Annual Pass is available online to Virginia residents at the same price as one-time admission to both museums — $20.50 for adults and $10.25 for children ages 6 through 12. The annual pass generally costs $35 for adults and $17.50 for ages 6 through 12.
The offer was available to residents of Hampton Roads and Richmond in 2011 and 2012. This is the first year the discount has been extended statewide.
The online-only offer is available at historyisfun.org. A personal pass, valid for 12 months, will be issued at the initial museum visit, when proof of residency is required.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
