Single northbound lanes on the George P. Coleman Bridge will be closed on Sunday of up to 30 minutes for maintenance work, said a Virginia Department of Transportation spokeswoman.
The work will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow crews to perform electrical-mechanical work to the bridge, said the spokeswoman. Maritime traffic will be impacted.
The bridge will remain fully operational throughout the work, although the two 30-minute northbound traffic stops will occur between 9 a.m. and noon to allow crews to reposition equipment.
In the event of rain, the work will occur June 16 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
