Former U.Va., W&M stars set to play World Team Tennis in July

The World Team Tennis regular season runs from July 6-23, with the semifinals July 24 and the championship match July 27.

The Mid-Atlantic Section's own Washington Kastles have been the league's dominant team, and there are three pros who played college tennis in the state who are set to play on the multi-colored courts: former U.Va. stars Treat Huey (Austin) and Somdev Devvarman (San Diego), plus returnee Megan Moulton-Levy (Boston) from William and Mary.

Here are the full rosters, as reported by WTT. Some of the big names will just play a couple of matches, but most of the less familiar names will try to play about every night:

AUSTIN ACES: Andy Roddick, Marion Bartoli, Vera Zvonareva, Eva Hrdinova, Treat Huey.  Coach: John Lloyd.

BOSTON LOBSTERS:  John Isner, Sharon Fichman, Eric Butorac, Megan Moulton-Levy, Rik de Voest.  Coach: Bob Greene.

PHILADELPHIA FREEDOMS:  Victoria Azarenka, Vicky Duval, Liezel Huber, Marcelo Melo, Frank Dancevic. Coach: Josh Cohen.

SAN DIEGO AVIATORS: Bob Bryan, Mike Bryan, Daniela Hantuchova, Somdev Devvarman, Raven Klaasen, Kveta Peschke. Coach: David Macpherson.

SPRINGFIELD LASERS:  James Blake, Alisa Kleybanova, Jean-Julien Rojer, Mike Russell, Anna-Lena Groenefeld.  Coach: John-Laffnie “JL” de Jager.

TEXAS WILD:  Anabel Medina Garrigues, Aisam Qureshi, Alex Bogomolov Jr., Darija Jurak.  Coach: Brent Haygarth.

WASHINGTON KASTLES:  Venus Williams, Martina Hingis, Leander Paes, Bobby Reynolds, Anastasia Rodionova. Coach: Murphy Jensen.
