Devante Smith-Pelly scored the first goal short-handed, and the other four were on power plays — including three in 5-on-3 situations.
Goalie Frederik Andersen had 32 saves for a shutout before a crowd of 5,254. The game was unusually chippy, featuring 120 penalty minutes -- 59 to the Admirals.

Langley Speedway’s popular annual “Day of Destruction” was postponed two weeks to Oct. 26 because of poor weather and the forecast for more.
