Robert Bonney III of Williamsburg and Connor Rinoski of Yorktown earned two of the 16 spots in match play in the Virginia State Golf Association Public Links Championship at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club's Green Course in Williamsburg.
Bonney, who shot even-par 72 in the qualifying round to gain the No. 5 seed, will face Jason Copeland of Virginia Beach. Rinoski, who also shot 72, took the No. 7 seed and will play Tom Baron of Virginia Beach.
