Inside the BRD: Start of 3A East Region Wrestling Tournament moved to Sunday

The first day of the 3A East Region Wrestling Tournament has been moved to Sunday at John Champe High in Loudoun County. The tournament will conclude with the finals on Monday.

The tournament was scheduled to start on Friday, but has been postponed two days because of the severity of the snowstorm on Northern Virginia. The start time for the tournament is 10 a.m. on Sunday and 8 a.m. on Monday, with the finals set for 1 p.m. on Monday.

Poquoson and New Kent are considered two of the favorites in the tournamet. The Islanders and Trojans have six Conference 25 champions apiece entered, while Lafayette has one conference titlist in the event.
