Poquoson High standout Grayson Boyce's list of Division I football scholarship offers has swelled to four, in addition to one from a D-II power. Boyce's latest D-I offer is from Northeast Conference school Bryant University of Rhode Island.
Boyce, a 6-foot-2, 245-pound rising senior, also has offers from D-I schools Hampton, Central Connecticut State and San Diego, along with D-II power Fort Hays State of Kansas. Boyce said he picked up the offer from Bryant two days ago.
A fullback with the ability to run the ball as well as catch it out of the backfield, Boyce led the Islanders a year ago with 682 yards and was first on the team with 12 receptions, 176 receiving yards and two touchdown receptions.
A defensive end, he was second on the Islanders a year ago during the regular season in both solo tackles (34) and tackles for loss (nine).
