Admirals start AHL trip with defeat to Bridgeport

The Norfolk Admirals (6-3) opened a four-game AHL trip with a 4-2 loss to Bridgeport that began at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Kyle Palmieri and Emerson Etem each netted tying goals in the second period, but the Sound Tigers — the New York Islanders’ top affiliate — went ahead to stay at 3-2 when Brock Nelson beat goalie Frederik Anderson with 41 seconds left in the second period.
