ACC All Access: Virginia Beach DE Trevon Hill becomes Virginia Tech's latest defensive commitment for 2015 class

Virginia Tech continued to focus its efforts for the 2015 football recruiting class on the defensive side of the ball Saturday with a commitment from defensive end Trevon Hill.

Hill, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound senior at Salem High in Virginia Beach, had Tech and North Carolina as his finalists. He's considered by most recruiting analysts to be one of the nation's top 60 defensvie end prospects in the '15 class.

In addition to scholarship offers from Tech and UNC, he also has offers from Virginia, Old Dominion, Louisville, Clemson, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Duke, N.C. State, West Virginia, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Marshall and Charlotte, according to

Last season, he finished with 23 sacks. He's the sixth commitment for Tech's '15 class, and every commitment has come from a defensive player. 

He's the first player to commit to Tech since May 28, when linebacker Carson Lydon from Tarpon Springs, Fla. pledged to the Hokies. Feb. 4 will be the first day recruits can sign a letter of intent.
