Newport News Shipbuilding and its parent company, Huntington Ingalls Industries, have announced several executive moves in the last two months.
* Tuesday (Jan. 8), HII announces Chris Miner has been promoted to vice president of Newport News Shipbuilding's in-service aircraft carrier programs.
Miner will oversee refueling and complex overhauls (RCOHs) of aircraft carriers, the inactivation of the Enterprise and carrier fleet maintenance.
* In mid-December HII announced Dwayne Blake as the new corporate vice president for investor relations. Blake had previously performed the company's internal audit.
* Meanwhile Scott Stabler stepped in to the internal audit position. He had been corporate vice president for operations.
* Meanwhile Andy Green, who had held the Blake's position, left the corporate staff for a job at Newport News Shipbuilding, according to the release.
