Archaeologists from Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary are searching for traces of a pioneering black school established during the 1700s. Brent Christensen is working inside a 1700s well with Tim Norton looking on as people walk by Prince George Street in front of Brown Hall and ask questions.
