Ken Bernstrom, an 86-year-old World War II veteran from Hampton, lays a memorial wreath during a service held Friday at the Virginia War Museum to honor the seventy-first anniverary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Bernstrom, who served in the 32nd Infantry Division of the Army, recalls hearing the news of Pearl Harbor's bombing on the radio as a 15-year-old growing up in Minnesota.
