Panera Bread donates money to breast cancer organization on Oct. 7

Hampton Roads Panera Bread will donate 100 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of its Pink Ribbon Bagel to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tidewater organization on Oct. 7 in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Panera Pink Ribbon Bagel is shaped like a pink ribbon and features cherry chips, dried cherries and cranberries, vanilla, honey and brown sugar.

During the remainder of October, the same bakery-cafes will donate 10 cents for every Pink Ribbon Bagel sold and one dollar for every Power of Pink baker’s dozen sold.
