The Shipyard founder

Shipyard founder and railroad tycoon Collis P. Huntington is shown in this photograph of his New York City office, where a panoramic photograph of Newport News Shipbuilding can be seen hanging on the wall over Huntington's shoulder. His early difficulties making a profit on his investment nearly led to the selling of the yard.
